We are already on the voyage…

Immram’ is an Old Irish word that means ‘voyage’ or ‘rowing’, and refers to a class of tales in which a hero embarks on an oceanic adventure, encountering a variety of Otherworlds and challenges before reaching the destination or returning to the land of the mundane.

Our mission is to promote healing of body, mind and spirit through movement, touch and somatic support. Our practices are intimately related with the more-than-human world and the land around us. We hope to open a door to healing by facilitating connection and reverence.

We understand the you are the expert on you, and thusly intend to share our knowledge and experience in a way that suits your needs. As such, there is no standard formula for ‘treatment’, instead we seek to collaborate with clients to find the most helpful approach.

We also reject the separations of ‘human’ and ‘nature’, ‘self’ and ‘other’. We are all connected and interdependent, now and through all time. If healing can be found outside ourselves, then it is also inherent, within us. This means we cannot heal in isolation, but must be concerned with healing the world. It also means that attending to our own healing is attending to the healing of the world.

Our immram is a global dark night of the soul. The wild world awaits our return.
